It recently started operating in Zimbabwe and one of its biggest ticketing sales events has included the recent 2014 Zimbabwe Tri-Series one-day international (ODI) cricket tournament between Zimbabwe, South Africa and Australia.
Further expansion plans are reportedly on the cards, says Jonathan Wayne, Co-Founder of Webtickets. "Our expansion into Zimbabwe was due to our clients requesting our service offering there and we have had additional demand. We are currently operating in Botswana and Zimbabwe, and we plan to expand our footprint in Africa with future expansion into Angola, Zambia and east Africa".
