e-Tech Africa Expo 2012 set for Zim

The Ministry of Information Communication Technology of the Republic of Zimbabwe will be hosting the e-Tech Africa Expo 2012 under the theme "Exploiting the Potential of ICTs for sustainable, Socio and Economic Transformation".

The annual event is set to take place from 1-5 October 2012 at the Harare International Conference Centre, Zimbabwe. The expo will provide a platform for networking, exchange of views and experiences towards the growth of ICT's in Africa.

To Build a Knowledge and Information Society

To boost Research and development in ICT's

To promote ICT's in Health and Agriculture

To promote ICT's in Tourism and Entertainment

To Build a vibrant ICT industry in Africa

To Bridge the digital divide

To promote the potential of ICT's for sustainable growth

To promote Cyber Security & Cyber Ethics

To promote ICTs for Poverty Alleviation and Community Development

To Impact e-Government Development in Africa

To promote E-learning for a developing economy in Africa

Green Computing/ICT

Cloud Computing

Who should attend:

Companies with the capacity to export their products and services and grow their brands into Africa

Companies with technical knowledge and experience in different sub-sectors of the ICT industry

Companies who wish to launch new brands into the Market Place to grow their market share
