Microsoft apps, news distribution service is now known as Microsoft News

Digiday reports that Microsoft will be rebranding its mobile apps and the new distribution service that powers MSN to Microsoft News. The rebranded service is set to be integrated into several Microsoft products including Skype and Xbox.

While MSN.com will remain MSN, it will now also include the "powered by Microsoft News" description.
