SA actress selected as 2008 Emmy juror

CANNES: SAFTA award-winning actress and Metro FM newsreader Vatiswa Ndara has been named as one of the participating jurors of the 2008 International Emmy Awards in the category of Best Performance by an Actress. Ndara joins the selective jury panel of television producers, directors, performers, and executives from around the world to honour the best in international television production. “We are quite thrilled that our very own Vatiswa has been selected to be a juror on this esteemed occasion. It speaks of her calibre as an individual and of her dexterity as an actress.” says Matona Sakupwanya, Metro FM station manager. The announcement was made at the annual MIPCOM conference in Cannes, France, on Monday, 13 October 2008.
