Skytrax survey indicates that passengers favour Lufthansa in Europe

Participants in the annual Skytrax survey named Lufthansa as the best airline in Europe. The announcement was made at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget.

Lufthansa was also named best airline in Western Europe as well as best first class lounge dining but missed out on the best airline staff service in Europe accolade, which went to Austrian Airlines.

An estimated 18 million passengers from 160 countries participated in this year's Skytrax survey. They evaluated airlines based on services on board as well as the airline services at airports.
