WTA reckons Cape Town International is Africa's leading airport
The Cape Town International Airport was once again hailed as Africa's Leading Airport at the World Travel Awards Africa and Indian Ocean. The gala awards ceremony was recently held at the Durban International Convention Centre and attended by senior executives from major travel companies, operators, and destinations.
Travel and tourism professionals and consumers worldwide vote for the winners of the World Travel Awards. The awards are aimed at recognising excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.
OR Tambo International and Cape Town International airports were also nominated for the World's Leading Airport 2018, which will be announced at the World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony on 1 December 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal.
