Turner Africa makes first African based appointment
Turner Africa has made its first African based appointment as Colman Murray has been named its business development director for Africa. Turner Africa operates several brands and channels on the continent which include, CNN International, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Boing and TCM.
Before settling in Johannesburg, ten years ago, Murray had led the development of Time Inc's publishing concerns in Europe, the Middle East and Africa while based in Amsterdam. He has also worked at Agence France Presse, YAHOO! and at Fox Networks Group. Murray will now be based at Turner's Johannesburg office and his main task will involve developing the company on the African continent.
