Richard Eberlein makes the move to the restaurant industry
After a five year absence from the restaurant scene Richard Eberlein has returned back to what he knows best. His pedigree; Cape Grace Hotel, Mount Nelson Hotel, Poplars Restaurant and Maestro's on the Beach to name a few. He has recently opened The Carvery, after being lured back into the restaurant industry from fashion retail by Russell Shapiro, owner of Café Manhattan, On Broadway and Mustard Seed.
His time spent in the fashion industry, with Foschini (as regional manager) and the Platinum Group (as general manager) has taught him about building a brand and working towards a vision rather just serving food.
