Motor Vehicle Technician - Pretoria North, Gauteng

Our client based in Pretoria North is looking to employ a motor vehicle technician to join their team.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and routine maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues, proposed repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.

Qualifications:

• Education: Matric Certificate.
• Certification: Trade Test Certificate in Motor Mechanics (Petrol or Diesel). A Master Technician qualification is advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, preferably with a premium brand.
• Licensing: Valid Driver's License.
• Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Additional requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Clear criminal record.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
