I am a well mannered and very communicative man who has his sense of orientation to the world and to boot, a flair for creative pursuits that are somewhat art orientated like graphic design.

Worked at Auto Trader for seven years back in the day when it was a killer publication and a well oiled corporate styled company. The days were filled with deadlines and much marketing meetings that all had to attend. Events were often planned, teased out and celebrated at the company and the studio I worked in was the centre of that: We did many print and mailer invites and incentives. Craetion of marketing materials only took second place to the design and upkeep, and to deadline publication of over 5 different weekly publications. The time keeping was strict and productivity measurement was incentivised. A highlight was painting the office columns in animal skins.
Thereafter I joined an agency for a year. With a number of different clients from construction to medical to sport the job bags were always loaded and one could work as much as one wanted to on banners, flyers, brochures, logos, e-mailers, invites etc. I left soon, the design environment was to small and dedicated myself to a wine company for the next eight years.
Here at Vinimark, The Wine Company I placed over 600 food and wine menus into the restaurant trade.
At Vinimark I collaboratively (between 3) planned and ran over 20 'national' wine shows at venues such as The Hyatt, Michaelangelo Hotel, Montecasino, Pretoria Country Club, Kimberley Club and Summer Place.
In this course of time I continued to work for reps creating much marketing material for them and between Auto Trader and Vinimark I have had over 200 reps through the years as clients and never experienced anything troublesome with them at all.
In the last few years at Auto Trader I was given the opportunity to do branding and marketing exercises with brands like Bollinger , Robertson wines , Spier Wines & Glen Carlou to but name a few. At this time I also inherited some IT skills to speak of.
I have spent the time since then selling my own original artworks and doing some freelance DTP and graphic design...but now after two hard years am seeking collaborative employment again.
