CREATIVE DYNAMICS
Born and bred in the Media Megalopolis of Johannesburg, James Gradidge is the founder of Adveau Media Arts, MegaWave MultiMedia, and WorldWide Online.
Commencing in 1976 with international advertising agency, McCann-Erickson, Johannesburg, he progressed within ten years to Creative Director on the FNB account, doing service on many of South Africa's top brands along the way, including ABI, Colgate, KFC, Nissan, Barclays Bank, SFW, Suzuki, Sun International and others.
With several sojourns as a freelance practitioner to his credit, James has supported the efforts of many of Johannesburg's top advertising agencies, including O&M, Hunt Lascaris, The Agency and a host of consulting agencies as well as direct clients, small, medium and large.
In addition, James has spent some time in the entrepreneurial field, developing properties for tourism prior to the FIFA World Cup, and creating marketing and communications for the same.
From 2008 to 2011, James was contracted to The Agency, mainly in support of Telkom, as a member of the team producing the advertising and marketing program for the FIFA World Cup. Other clients in the mix include Telkom Business, Transnet, and The South Africa Post Office. Deployed as a visualizer, James was largely involved in the production of national media campaigns for print and television.
During this time, James has taken the initiative to develop the skills essential to the new age of digital media, and has gained much experience in the production of online content, website design and contstruction, and digital marketing and presentation techniques.
Added to the already solid foundation represented by three decades in the field of mainstream media, James is now equipped to offer you a fully comprehensive creative service in support of your next media project.
