Sound Production and Creative Copywriter manager at UJFM
I am a qualified sound engineer with a three year diploma. I am very passionate in conceptualising, recording and bringing to life ideas for radio shows and commercial adverts for different clients and media concepts. Currently I am working with Pro Tools 8.0 and Adobe Audition 3.0 recording and audio editing software.
I have worked in a radio environment for the last four and a half years as a Production Manager and copywriter at UJFM 95.4.
Duties and key resposibilities.
• Conceptualising and scripting adverts,jingles
• Auditioning and sourcing relevant voice over artists for radio adverts and promo's.
• Scheduling recordings and studio time
• Recording and mixing audio and getting it ready for airplay.
• Using RCS linker to schedule recordings and overseeing the process.
• Managing the technical producers and scheduling weekly meatings for progress evaluation.
• Making sure that the station is imaged and that the imaging is well suited for our target market.
• Accuiring and updating the relevant software and sound material nessesary to inhance production.
I am able to work effectively within a team and I often undertake the role of a leader. I strive to attain qualitative results within a timely fashion. I thrive under pressure often going beyond the call of duty. I am very good at seeing gaps in the market and coming up with new creative concepts to fill those gaps. My ideas are often unique but commercially viable.
