Technical Business Analyst / Process Engineer

Our prestige client is seeking a technical business analyst / process engineer to drive innovation, efficiency, and automation within their business processes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically inclined, and has a strong understanding of business process engineering within the financial services sector. They should be skilled in SQL queries and /or data analysis with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and automation of business processes.

Key Skills

• Process engineering and optimisation
• Analyse, design, and implement improvements to business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Conduct gap analyses and identify inefficiencies, providing practical and innovative solutions.
• Develop end-to-end process documentation using BPMN, Visio, ARIS, or other process mapping tools.
• Drive automation initiatives using process automation technologies.
• Develop and maintain process models, frameworks, and architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Leverage Lean Six Sigma principles to optimize workflows and eliminate process bottlenecks.
• Solutioning and innovation
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to develop scalable, technology-driven process solutions.
• Investigate and present innovative ways to integrate automation, AI, and data analytics into business processes.
• Ensure business processes are aligned with best practices, governance standards, and compliance regulations.
• Stakeholder engagement and collaboration
• Work closely with business units, data engineers, developers, and senior management to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, user-story mapping sessions, and process documentation reviews.
• Develop and present business cases for process enhancements, focusing on efficiency gains, cost savings, and improved customer experience.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, IT, informatics, business process management, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt (or Black Belt) certification is highly preferred.
• Additional certifications in TOGAF, Business Analysis.
