Our client is looking for a costing clerk to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Validate repair orders by verifying the payment method indicated, work requested, customer information, confirmation of motor plan CIA, and vehicle details.
- Make corrections on the subscribed OEM system.
- Perform repair order costing, ensuring that all work performed is authorised, with attention to detail being essential.
- Handle motor plan and warranty claims.
- Ensure the control parts return process is followed and completed correctly.
- Provide weekly feedback on claim reconciliations and payment recons.
- Load authority and follow up with OEM.
- Assist the workshop with cash estimates.
- Invoice internal, cash, motor plan, and warranty invoices.
- Ensure correct invoicing of insurance claims.
- Update customer details on the motor plan after a quality check has been done.
- Manage and control policy invoicing.
- Adjust technician clocking.
- Load resources and skills.
Requirements
- Senior certificate (Grade twelve)
- Previous costing experience
- Previous OEM warranty or motor plan costing abilities
- Knowledge of Keyloop (Kerridge) with at least five years of experience
- Experience in Excel
- Driver’s licence
- Own transport
- At least five years of experience in the motor dealership industry
