Key responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to accurately identify vehicle issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks
- Repair or replace vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair recommendations and providing an exceptional service experience
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and maximise efficiency in the service department
Qualifications- Minimum of two years of experience as a Toyota motor technician
- Trade test qualification
- Driver’s licence
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerised systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
