With a buzz of activities, a coffee aroma from the Baristas and the tantalising food brewing in the kitchen of Flavours of the World, this expo had loads to offer to targeted visitors looking for home improvement ideas and advice.
The overall winner of the best stand this year was First National bank. Gold awards were given to NHBRC, Major Tech, Art Tech, Floor Smart, Enforce Security, Rock Pots KZN and East Coast Garden Art, Tongaat Huletts Development, Patio Warehouse and Beds for Africa.
Silver certificates were given to Alifurn, Maxidor, Beach House Furniture, Vrede en Lust, Neat Freak, Stafix Security, House of Froggit, Trimwise, Divine Design and Re-Design & Uber House.
Bronze certificates were awarded to Epromo Bamboo Pillows, Even Flow Décor, Hitek Security, Lona's Painos, Martinnaise, Master Movers Durban, Solar Beam, Space Bros Tech, Top Carpets and Uni-Deco T&D.
We were delighted to see the fantastic murals from the five local schools, which were Kloof High, Northlands Girls High, Durban Boys' High, Westville Boys' High and Kingsway High. The Overall mural winner was Durban Boys' High with an exceptional interpretation of "My Durban" that the judges as well as the visitors thoroughly enjoyed!
