Job overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ASP Programmer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ASP (Active Server Pages) and a strong understanding of web development technologies. You will be responsible for creating dynamic and scalable web applications, enhancing the functionality of existing systems, and ensuring high performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot, test, and optimize code for scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Integrate with databases (e.g., SQL Server) for dynamic data-driven applications.
- Work with other departments to define technical requirements and specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
- Proven experience as an ASP Programmer or Web Developer.
- Proficiency in ASP (classic and/or ASP.NET), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC or Web API.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of security best practices in web development.
