Intermediate to Senior SQL DBA/Consultant - Remote

We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior SQL Consultant to join our team and take ownership of SQL support contracts and projects.

Key responsibilities:

• SQL Database administration, optimisation and performance tuning
• Incident management and change control
• Disaster recovery planning and backup management
• SQL server patch management and upgrades
• Reporting services (SSRS) and Power BI report development
• Data Warehousing and Azure Data Services (Azure SQL MI, Data Factory, Synapse)
• Always on availability groups and SQL Replication (merge and transactional)
• Capacity planning and security best practices

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years SQL Server DBA experience
• 4+ years working with SQL 2012/2014/2016/2022
• Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, and Azure SQL DB
• Strong knowledge of Transact-SQL, query optimisation, and indexing
• Ability to design and implement Data Warehouses and ETL workflows
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel and provide after-hours support when required
